To our members:
We have received word from Dunwoody that in the interest of public safety, they are suspending in-person classes until April 3rd, at which time they will be re-evaluating the situation.
As a precautionary measure, we are following suit and suspending all apprentice and journeyworker classes until further notice, effective today, March 12, 2020.
We will begin working on alternative training methods for you, so your training obligations can be fulfilled for the school year.
You will be contacted as soon as we know the direction this will take.
All Continuing Education and Certification classes are canceled until further notice. If you have certifications expiring, we will be working with the certifying agencies to avoid the repercussions of expirations.
We’ll keep you informed when we have more information to share.
The Training Center office will remain open, but if you can call or email us instead of coming in, please do.
If you haven’t already, take the time to learn more about the virus and how it spreads. This video talks through some of the frequently asked questions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIL5m5XznNY. You can also find information on the CDC website, and the MN Dept of Health.
Please continue to follow all CDC recommendations which include:
- Thoroughly and frequently washing your hands
- Covering coughs/sneezes with disposable tissues or arm
- Stay home when feeling sick
