Future Applicants

We are located at 8625 Monticello Ln N, Suite 2, Maple Grove MN 55369. Please enter at the north entrance, under the Training Center awning.

The application/testing is located in the computer lab area where you will be provided with secure access to your email, so that you can receive the link to the application & testing.

• You will be required to access your email from a computer provided to you and not your phone.
• Please plan for about 1 ½ hrs. to apply and take the test.
• Once you start the application process you must complete it. Plan your time accordingly.
• You will be required to upload PDF copy of your high school diploma, high school transcript, or GED.
• Part of the application requires that you upload your high school diploma, transcript, or GED. This is required, and your application will not be considered without it.
• You may also electronically submit any additional documents at this time (letters of recommendation, resume, etc.).
• If you are a senior in high school you can still apply and provide your diploma by June 30th.

1. Enter the North Training Entrance of the building.
2. Follow the signs to the Computer Lab – Room 143.
3. Approach the proctor to receive application instructions.
4. Take a seat at a computer and access your email from that computer.
5. Email the proctor at applicants@plumberslocal15.com for First and Last Name.
6. Download your diploma, GED, high school transcripts, and letters of recommendation to the Downloads folder. This is where you will upload your information during the application.
7. You will receive an email from Criteria <DO-NOT-REPLY@criteriacorp.com>. Open the email from Criteria.
8. Begin your application. This is where you will upload additional information and take your assessment tests. Unless you are a high school senior and do not yet have your diploma, this is the only opportunity you will have to provide this information.

When You Are Finished

– After completion of your application and testing, there will be a link to schedule your interview time. The interview will take place at our location in the boardroom.

– After applications and interviews are completed, all applicants will be ranked. You will receive your ranking by email from Minneapolis Plumbers JJATC <DO-NOT-REPLY@criteriacorp.com>.

– The Union Office will begin placing apprentices with union contractors from March to September. If you are accepted you will receive an email from Office UA Local 15 <office@plumberslocal15.com>.

• All communication from this point will be with the Union Office <office@plumberslocal15.com>.
• You should be given a 2-week notice so you can let your current employer know.
• The Union Office does not have a set number of apprentices they accept each year; it is determined by industry demand. The typical apprentice class size each year is between 40 and 60.
• The Union Office will begin placing apprentices with union contractors from March to September.
• You will receive notice if you are accepted and when the union office is done placing apprentices for the year.
